ECR Update 5th June 2025

  • The ECR annual awards night is tomorrow evening.
    • Doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start to proceedings.
    • Supper should arrive 7:45 – 8pm.
    • Licenced bar therefore strictly no bring your own.
    • Last orders at bar 10pm.
  • Great club turnout for the 2025 Green Wheel Relay with 3 teams from ECR completing the 50 mile course. A last-minute route change due to roadworks – (that didn’t happen!) may have led to some non adherence to the course but looks like everyone enjoyed the race. Looking at the video compilation from Emily it certainly looked like it. Well done runners and cyclists, hope you enjoyed the Runners Reward.
  • The Eye 5k and 3k, which is the first race on the 2025 Peterborough GP series takes place on Wednesday 11th June. Thanks to everyone who have already volunteered. If you haven’t and would like to help we can always use more people, so please let me know. There are opportunities to help and still run the 5k. If you’re planning to run entries are now open. Head to www.peterboroughgpseries.org.uk
